Editorial policy

Top Anime Like is an independent publication written by Amit. Articles share my reviews, recommendations, recaps, interpretations, and theories about anime series and films.

Reviews and recommendations

A review gives my opinion of what I watched and says how much of the anime it covers, such as a first episode or a full season. A recommendation explains what the suggested anime shares with the one it is compared to. Ratings are my own and are not an aggregate score.

What is shown and what is interpreted

An ending explanation starts with events, dialogue, and details in the story. Where a conclusion is my interpretation, a theory, or a prediction, it should be presented that way. An ambiguous ending can support more than one reading.

Sources and spoilers

Reviews and explanations contain spoilers. When citing information beyond the work itself, relevant interviews, official announcements, or other sources should be linked. Rumours and predictions should not be treated as confirmed announcements.

Authorship and updates

Each article names its author and shows its original publication date. An update date reflects the article’s recorded revision date. Moving an article to this website does not give it a new publication date.

Corrections

If you spot an error, send the article URL and supporting details. I review correction requests and update the affected article when a correction is needed. Substantial corrections should be explained within the article.

Images and commercial disclosures

Images do not imply a studio’s endorsement. Illustrations or concept art generated with AI should be identified as such when used; they are not official footage. Any sponsorship or affiliate relationship should be disclosed in the relevant article.
